In Christine Hauser’s article, â€Å"Children’s Arrest in Bullying Case Distress Tennessee City,† Hauser reports and explains the â€Å"brawl† that occurred in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Hauser reports that there were two sides in this case. One side believes that the police overstepped their boundaries and the other side believes this case was not just about bullying. Therefor, Hauser effectively used the elements of pathos and ethos to address why she believed this was another case of policing gone wrong in the 21st century. Throughout the article, Hauser frequently and effectively used pathos to address a much larger issue at hand.
