Not So Superbad

Not So SuperBad Sweetly absurd, Crude and awkward, Superbad is almost a typical teen movie, reminding me a bit of the American Pie films beca workout of the simple plot and juvenile humour. However, compared to other teen movies the film is to a greater extent than more intelligently written than others of its genre, and this shines through in the tempers. The over weight Seth, played by jinx Hill (Knocked Up) is foul-mouthed and impulsive, Evan, his best friend, played by Michael Cera is a more gentle and shy, almost to the point of world invisible, character who is dominated by Seth in nearly ways. Theirs is a highly interdependent friendship. though the character I entangle was one of the best things in Superbad is the almost impossibly well-cast F ogell (Christopher Mints-Plasse), the attribute geek responsible for the worst fake ID ever. Though the trine of them are clearly un customary, they refuse to admit it, in particular Seth, who believes he has a endangerment with Jules, one of the most popular girls in the school.

So when Seth and Evan get unexpectedly invited to Jules openhanded raging party they see the event as their chance to hurt their lingering virginity. Seth, who wants to make Jules his girlfriend for the summer tries to expunge her by volunteering to get alcoholic drink for her party. Their plan is seemingly simple, to use Fogell s ludicrous fake ID, which says he has the i! nstantly unforgettable key McLovin a 25 year old Hawaiian organ donor, to buy the drink from a nearby alcohol store.
